Electrical Production Foreman

Mission
At Zelestra, we are seeking an Electrical Production Supervisor to join the construction phase of a photovoltaic solar plant in the Tarapacá Region. The main mission of this role is to lead the construction management of the electrical discipline by supervising both in-house personnel and contractors during the execution and review of electrical works in a production environment, promptly identifying and addressing any deviations. The goal is to ensure that the process is carried out within the expected timelines, guaranteeing that all electrical works are executed efficiently and safely, in compliance with current regulations, safety standards, quality, environmental requirements, and the guidelines established by Zelestra.
Responsibilities

Coordinate contract management with external suppliers and contractor companies providing services for the discipline, ensuring that actions, deliverables, and services offered meet the commitments and standards stipulated in the contract, both in terms of timing and quality.

Coordinate the progress and priorities of the specialty in alignment with other areas, optimizing both processes and the use of time and resources.

Lead the electrical discipline team by supervising their progress, providing timely feedback on the performance of each team member, and supporting supervisors to enhance their effectiveness and contribution to the team.

Maintain systematic records of the progress of electrical discipline activities and prepare production and performance reports.

Schedule and coordinate execution activities and electrical inspections to ensure their proper functioning according to the established plan.

Monitor the execution of electrical works, identifying deviations and intervening promptly in problem resolution.

Lead the discipline’s response to unforeseen events and contingencies, in coordination with other areas.

Evaluate the progress of the electrical discipline’s work plan and issue alerts regarding delays or potential risks to meeting schedules, costs, and/or material management.

Verify inventories of supplies, materials, and equipment for the discipline, promptly reporting shortages and/or requirements to the responsible area, ensuring the team has the necessary resources to carry out the work.

Provide technical advice to other areas regarding the electrical discipline.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during the execution of works.
Job Requirements
- Professional degree in Electrical Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in positions of similar responsibility in construction projects within the electrical discipline.
- 3 years of experience in related roles within renewable energy companies.
- Experience in the construction of utility-scale solar projects will be valued.
- Class B driver’s license (manual transmission vehicle).
- Availability to work on-site at the project.
