Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to support our Commercial Asset Operations team. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, and Energy teams to manage PPAs, oversee financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support energy sales settlements.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3+ years of experience in the Renewable industry, or financial planning/budgeting, or commercial operations 
  • Familiarity with power markets (particularly ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and PJM) across the US and renewable energy facilities (solar, energy storage, and wind).  
  • Commercial knowledge of key agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements, Interconnect agreements, PPA settlement etc.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, such as interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven business decisions. 

Role Responsibility

  • Represent the commercial team in project execution calls between PPA execution and COD.
  • Lead monthly gross margin budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; partner with Finance and Accounting on full project P&Ls.
  • Support PPA management, including customer contract compliance, reporting, and regulatory compliance (FERC, RTO, state-level).
  • Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to ensure accurate A/R and A/P processing, including customer invoicing and vendor payments.
  • Review energy sales settlements with the Energy Manager and monitor monthly collections and payments

  • Supporting on commercial strategy
  • Energy marketing and origination
  • Monitoring of changes in electricity market regulations 
  • Development of AI or other digital tools, such as Excel and SAP

The salary for this position typically ranges from minimum to mid-point annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
