Environmental Technician

Mission

Your mission will be to manage environmental compliance for the facility owner's (SPV) projects during the construction and operation phases of the plants, which will take place in Trujillo (Cáceres).

Responsibilities

• Prepare all environmental and internal legal documents for projects in the construction phase.
• Identify applicable legislation, standards, ordinances, regulations, health and safety requirements, and periodically assess compliance, ensuring compliance from the facility owner's perspective.
• Environmental monitoring (environmental surveillance) of legal compliance (permits, authorisations, licences, etc.) in construction projects
• Management of the SPV's environmental budget during the construction and operation phases
• Preparation and submission, within the established deadlines, of the environmental reports required by the applicable authorities, as well as Zelestra's internal reports.
• Preparation and submission of environmental reports within the deadlines defined by the client
• Participation in external audits carried out on the system and monitoring of the corrective measures implemented.
• Management of the SPV's environmental budget during the construction and operation phases.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering.
• Desirable: Master's degree in environmental studies.
• At least 2 years' experience in a position as an environmental technician in renewable energy projects or similar.
