Your Role 
 
As an EPC Development Engineer (f/m/x) at Zelestra, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge renewable energy sites. Your expertise will support site assessments, project design, cost estimation, and technical evaluations—playing a key role in bringing clean energy projects from concept to reality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate location suitability for renewable energy projects. 
  • Determine optimal project configurations considering CAPEX, OPEX, and expected yield. 
  • Prepare preliminary layouts and single-line diagrams using PVCase/AutoCAD for stakeholder presentations. 
  • Develop electrical connection plans in LV and MV as needed. 
  • Perform energy yield assessments with PVsyst based on project layouts. 
  • Estimate preliminary EPC costs using reference data from previous projects and EPC offers in Germany. 
  • Coordinate procurement of site studies (Topo, Hydro, Geotech) and update designs accordingly. 
  • Collaborate with Business Development and M&A teams to provide technical insights for project acquisitions in Germany. 

Job Requirements

  • Strong results-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach. 
  • Professional and effective communication skills, with  demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • Several years of experience in renewable energy project development or engineering. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; PVCase and PVSyst are a plus. 
  • Knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems is advantageous. 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site analysis. 
  • Strong communication skills in German and English. 
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or related field.
