Your Role

As an EPC Development Engineer (f/m/x) at Zelestra, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge renewable energy sites. Your expertise will support site assessments, project design, cost estimation, and technical evaluations—playing a key role in bringing clean energy projects from concept to reality.

Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate location suitability for renewable energy projects.
Determine optimal project configurations considering CAPEX, OPEX, and expected yield.
Prepare preliminary layouts and single-line diagrams using PVCase/AutoCAD for stakeholder presentations.
Develop electrical connection plans in LV and MV as needed.
Perform energy yield assessments with PVsyst based on project layouts.
Estimate preliminary EPC costs using reference data from previous projects and EPC offers in Germany.
Coordinate procurement of site studies (Topo, Hydro, Geotech) and update designs accordingly.
Collaborate with Business Development and M&A teams to provide technical insights for project acquisitions in Germany.

Job Requirements

Strong results-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach.
Professional and effective communication skills, with demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit.
Several years of experience in renewable energy project development or engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; PVCase and PVSyst are a plus.
Knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems is advantageous.
Willingness to travel occasionally for site analysis.
Strong communication skills in German and English.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or related field.
