Our purpose is to accelerate the transition to clean, affordable energy for all. We are looking to hire a Communications Network Supervisor for the solar plant construction project in Guadalajara, Jose Cabrera.

MISSION

Your mission will be to supervise the digitisation work on site and to be responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of the network hardware during the construction phase of the solar plant, being on site to ensure its correct review and correction. This project will be carried out in Villamañán, a municipality located in the province of León. 

Responsabilidades

• Install network and computer systems, understand the types of cables used (fibre optic, Ethernet). Also, types of connectors.
• Basic knowledge of networks. Diagnosis of network problems and design of solutions.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the network.
• Knowledge of Fortinet firewall administration.
• Configuration of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
• IP address auditing.
• Familiarity or experience with photovoltaic plants or renewable energy.
• Basic knowledge of electricity.

Job requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or FPII in the same field.
• Essential: 20 or 60-hour PRL course in construction, approved by the construction labour foundation.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and hardware, network security.
• Experience in LAN and WAN network architecture.
• Knowledge of operating systems: Linux, Windows.
• Ability to learn quickly about new technologies and products.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for network functions.
