Quality Control Technician

Location
Caceres, Spain.
Mission
Your mission will be provide support to the On Site Quality Control Coordinator to ensure that projects under construction are executed according to the indications established in the Quality Plan and monitor and control the execution of the procedures for obtaining the Provisional and Final Acceptance Certificate from the Clients.
Responsibilities
- Support the On Site Quality Control Coordinator with the elaboration of the Quality Plan and its annexes for each project.
- Coordination of tasks of the EPC Quality Control Technician/Inspectors.
- Monitor and report the status (quality) of projects to the On Site Quality Control Coordinator, ensuring that the quality standard is aligned with Zelestra requirements, scheduling regular meetings with the EPC Quality Control Technicians.
- Control of the on-site quality control planning and activities, taking into account the work execution schedule and possible deficiencies detected or foreseen, or other considerations such as the importance of the unit/equipment.
- Supervisory control of the status of filled IPPs/checklists with the inspections carried out on site both by Construction and Quality teams along with the related statistics.
- Reviewing the quality documentation generated on site, as well as detecting the lack of sensitive Quality documentation (calibration certificates, quality certificates, test results, IPP, etc.).
- Verify that the tests are carried out in accordance with the Project Technical Specifications, Quality Plan and applicable regulations.
- Inform to the Technical Office/Engineering Department about deviations detected during the execution of the works and not communicated by Construction.
- Follow-up in the execution of the procedures to obtain the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) from the Clients (internal and external)
- Attendance to internal and Client follow-up meetings, being the focal point (quality) for the assigned Projects.
- Ensure the elaboration and the content of monthly reports (Quality section).
- Control and follow up of Punch List status of projects.
- Opening and documentation of the Non Conformities (NCs) and incidences that are estimated.
Job Requirements
- Preferably with a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Desirable experience of at least 2-3 years performing similar functions
- Mandatory: Occupational Health & Safety course (minimum 20 hours) in accordance with applicable collective agreements (Spain).
