Mission
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedule and cost to ensure that all phases of the project are completed on time and expected cost are under control, controlling the associated risks. Coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to track progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-level project schedules for all projects using Project, and other relevant tools, based on established procedures set by the project management team or company standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, set milestones, and coordinate with teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the project lifecycle from origination to Commercial Operation Date (COD) to ensure accurate scheduling and timely project completion.
- Incorporate the project schedule into the contract, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on key deadlines.
- Maintain the schedule as a critical reference to avoid delays that could negatively impact the company’s financial results.
- Act as the central point of communication between Business development, engineering, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring they provide timely updates on their progress.
- Monitor and track project timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and promptly address any delays by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Regularly update project schedules ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected.
- Identify critical paths within the project schedules, evaluate different scenarios, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Create project budgets based on cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and forecast future costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project expenses, identify variances between planned and actual costs, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate the definition of projects risk management plan and assist in developing cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in bid analysis, invoice audits, and the development of contracting strategies for project.
- Collaborate to ensure the achievement of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) objectives and goals set by management.
- Stay informed about and comply with all regulations, manuals, and procedures that affect your role, ensuring all scheduling activities meet both company and legal standards.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of experience on renewable energy sector (EPC, IPP or similar)
- Native in Italian is required.
- Advanced level of English (minimum C1 level, written and spoken) is required.
