Mission

Ensure that project under construction is executed according to the indications established in the Quality Plan and control the execution of the procedures for obtaining the Provisional Acceptance Certificate from the Client. 

Responsibilities

• On-site Quality Control taking into account the execution schedule of the works and possible deficiencies detected or foreseen, or other considerations such as the importance of the unit/equipment.   
• Verify, through metric and/or visual checks and inspections, that the Quality Assurance process is complied with by the Contractor and Construction Department during the execution of the area of works of the Project under their responsibility.  Quality control of a percentage of work (IPPs/checklists) released by Construction Department, indicating the inspections performed. 
• Review the quality documentation that is generated on site, as well as detect the lack of sensitive Quality documentation to be delivered by the Contractors (calibration certificates, quality certificates, test results, IPPs).   
• Inspection and approval according to the specifications of the project of the different materials arriving on site and considered critical, in coordination with the at source Quality Inspectors. 
• Verify that the tests are carried out in accordance with the Technical Specifications of the Project, Quality Plan and applicable regulations.   
• Report to the Quality Technician of all the incidences found to document them in reports, as well as the opening of non-conformities.   
• Documentary management in quality matters. 

Job Requirements

• Preferably with a degree in Civil Engineering or Technical Architecture.
• Reading and interpreting plans.
• Interpreting and analysing field and laboratory test results.
• Document analysis and management. Knowledge of Office Excel and Word.
• Experience in the same position, such as civil quality inspector, would be an advantage.
