Position Snapshot

Zelestra’s US Commercial team secures offtake for and commercially manages the clean energy projects Zelestra develops, owns, and operates for our customers. This role leads the development of our commercial strategy.

• Leading and refining Zelestra US’s commercial strategy, identifying key investment areas such as markets, products, and technologies aligned with clean energy goals.
• Developing a phased strategy (near-, mid-, and long-term) that outlines greenfield vs. M&A approaches to meet customer needs.
• Collaborating across commercial and development teams to align strategy and execution.
• Monitoring regulatory developments in key markets to inform strategic decisions.
• Creating tools, including digital and AI-driven solutions, to strengthen the commercial function.

Minimum Qualification:

Experience crafting commercial strategies for US renewables businesses.
Deep familiarity with power markets (particularly ERCOT, MISO, SPP, and PJM) across the US , including traded products, commercial exposures, risk management, regulatory matters,
Experience with key renewable energy technologies (solar, energy storage, and wind) and their project development processes.
15-20 years of work experience in US power markets on the topics above.
Experience building and leading an effective team.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary for this position typically ranges from the minimum to the mid-point annually, based on experience and qualifications.
