Mechanical Production Foreman

Mission

Your mission will be to organise the resources for the mechanical construction of the solar plant, ensuring compliance with planning, budget, quality, health and safety requirements, as well as introducing improvements in the production processes associated with the execution.

Responsibilities

• Management of the contract with the subcontractor and supervision of the work in terms of quality, deadline and cost.
• Coordination of the work with the different subcontracted companies
• Review and approval of the contractor's certifications and actual measurements taken.
• Receipt and organisation of materials, meeting areas, workshops, etc.
• Planning and organisation of the process and mechanics of the construction work.
• Organisation of workspaces, manoeuvring, storage, loading/unloading, workshops and access to the site.
• Control and organisation of work groups and assignment of tasks to operators.
• Verification of compliance with the construction plan and established quality standards.
• Supervision of the testing and commissioning phase of the facilities.
• Proposal of procedures, materials and techniques for the execution of the work.
• Compilation and preparation of all necessary documentation for the CAP (Certificate of Professional Competence) application process.

Job Requirements

• Vocational training in mechanics or university degree
• 20 or 60hour course in occupational risk prevention in construction, approved by the Construction Labour Foundation
• Experience in the same position
