Zelestra Corporación, S.A.U. and the companies that are part of the Zelestra Group are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable personal data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable, and the personal data protection legislation in each country.
Zelestra has implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data from accidental loss or unauthorized alteration, access, use, or disclosure.
This privacy notice applies to the processing of personal data of candidates or potential candidates who apply for and/or are offered a job position in a Zelestra Group company.
1 Data controller
The data controllers of your personal data will be the Zelestra Group companies responsible for personnel selection processes. Annex I includes information about each data controller and indicates where their data protection officers can be contacted regarding any matter related to this privacy notice.
2. Categories of personal data subject to processing
We will process your personal data, such as your email address and login details, necessary for registration on our employment portal. We will also process the data and documentation you provide when applying for a specific job or internship offer. These data will generally include: first and last name, gender, telephone number, country, address, CV, education, professional experience, certifications, and languages. We may also process personal data obtained from publicly accessible sources, such as reputational risk and compliance databases containing primarily public information.
Additionally, we will process information obtained from tests carried out during a specific selection process or pre-selection tests to offer you participation in future recruitment processes.
If you participate in and pass a selection process, we may request and process, depending on the country where the vacancy exists, additional data such as: identity document and/or social security number and/or passport, health data following a medical examination and fitness for work, if applicable, banking details, and family data.
3 Purposes of processing your personal data
- Register as a user on our employment channel, manage your account, and communicate with you regarding your account, based on your consent.
- Allow you to participate in the selection processes (whether for a job or an internship) to which you apply, which includes analyzing your suitability and ensuring that you meet the requirements of the job or internship offered, based on the need to apply pre-contractual measures or the intention to conclude a contract.
Participation in the selection processes will entail your inclusion in a database of potential candidates for employment or internships within the Zelestra Group, based on the legitimate interest of the Zelestra Group in having a common database of candidates interested in a job or internship within the Zelestra Group .
iii. To inform you of active vacancies on our channel if you request to receive job and/or internship alerts, based on the legitimacy of the consent you provide when you activate said alerts within our employment channel.
- If you pass the selection process, your data will be processed to prepare all necessary administrative procedures prior to employment or academic contract placement, based on the need to implement pre-contractual measures or the intention to conclude a contract.
4 Retention period of your data
Applicant data will be retained for two years from the last update, provided consent has been given, after which it will be blocked. In Germany, applicant data will be retained for six months from the last update, provided consent has been given.
5 Recipients of your data
Your data will be shared with Zelestra Group companies to include you in a database of potential candidates for employment or internships within the Group and to invite you to participate in pre-selection and selection processes for future vacancies matching your professional profile.
Your data will also be accessible to external service providers related to the selection process, such as the provider of our employment portal platform or recruitment service providers.
Finally, your data may be disclosed to third parties and official bodies to comply with legal obligations or meet requests from regulatory, judicial, or other authorities.
6 Transfer of personal data to a third country
If international transfers of personal data are carried out, they will be made under and in accordance with applicable legislation.
7 Automated decisions about your data
We do not use automated decision-making (including profiling) during the employment relationship. If we implement such procedures in the future, we will inform the data subjects individually in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
8 Rights of data subjects in relation to their personal data
You have the right to access your personal data being processed, request the rectification of inaccurate data, or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You also have the right to object to processing, request restriction of processing, and data portability. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.
You may exercise these rights free of charge by writing to the addresses listed in Annex I.
You may also consult, update, modify, and, where applicable, delete your data by accessing your account on our employment portal using your username and password.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es) or with the competent supervisory authority in your country.
9 Updating your personal data
Zelestra shall under no circumstances be responsible for the legality, truthfulness, or accuracy of the personal data provided by the employee. In the event of changes to the candidate's data, it will be the candidate's sole responsibility to notify Zelestra of such changes.
