Mission

You will work side by side with experienced in-house lawyers on real corporate work. That includes corporate housekeeping across a large portfolio of companies, powers of attorney, notarial deeds, and providing ongoing support and practical solutions to the business’s day-to-day legal queries.

You will also deal regularly with notaries, registries and leading external law firms. The role also includes a significant share of administrative and billing support, which requires rigor, method and strong organization: keeping track of invoices from notaries, registries and external advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Billing support and legal operations: track and process invoices from notaries, registries and external advisors, follow up on payment status with finance and procurement, and help manage the monthly invoice batches with our notaries.

  • Support to the corporate team on a wide range of needs:
    • Corporate tasks such as powers of attorney, changes of directors, registered office and company name, shareholders' agreements, statutory books
    • Managing the physical archive of original deeds and corporate records
    • Coordinating with notaries for signings, apostilles or arranging the legitimization of signatures
    • Coordinating with external providers and advisors
    • Supporting M&A processes when needed, including due diligence and post-closing work

  • Contract review: support the team in reviewing agreements and preparing related documents, such as termination letters.

  • Corporate legal queries: help answer questions from business and finance teams on corporate matters.

Job Requirements

  • A recent Law degree; A Master's degree or a double degree is a plus but not required.
  • High level of English. You will work daily with colleagues and advisors in several countries.
  • A proactive attitude and genuine commitment. You take ownership, follow things through and keep track of the details.
  • A real desire to learn and grow in an international corporate legal environment.
  • Good organizational skills and comfort with Excel and digital tools.

What we offer

  • Close mentoring from senior in-house lawyers.
  • A collaborative team that values initiative and gives you real responsibility as you grow.
  • Internship Agreement: Availability to sign a collaboration agreement with your university or training center (or Fundación Novia Salcedo).
  • Start Date: 2026
  • Location: 100% on-site. Bilbao Office (Alameda Urquijo, 13)
  • Duration: Maximum duration permitted by the candidate’s academic program
