Maintenance Planner & Reporting

Mission
Reporting to the O&M Manager, the Maintenance & Reporting Planner will support the O&M team with the main objective of ensuring the development and compliance of maintenance activities in the assets managed by the Business Unit, through the development of anticipated and/or condition-based strategies that include methods, techniques and technologies in favor of continuous process improvement, maximizing performance, reliability, and equipment availability while reducing costs and downtime.
The role also tracks and analyzes production deviations, manages production and maintenance reporting for internal and external stakeholders, and drives the digitization and automation of analysis processes to support data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:

Ensure that the catalogs of locations, equipment, spare parts, and human resources of the assets managed by the business unit are kept up to date in the CMMS software.

Carry out, in coordination with the portfolio/plant managers, the planning and scheduling of corrective, preventive and predictive tasks in the CMMS software, prioritizing compliance with the Annual Maintenance Plan and the task backlog, based on equipment maintenance history and manufacturer’s recommendations.

Collaborate with operational excellence, engineering, and maintenance teams to prioritize and schedule corrective and emergency repairs.

Provide assistance to the O&M technicians of the business unit assets for the execution of planned tasks and resolution of incidents/correctives in the CMMS software.

Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and asset data.

Create detailed work plans that include labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for each maintenance job.

Coordination of Resources:

Ensure that necessary spare parts, tools, and resources are available for scheduled maintenance tasks.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and availability of materials and parts.

Work closely with the maintenance team to allocate personnel based on skills and job requirements.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment downtime, and maintenance costs.

Analyze plant KPIs (performance, availability, etc.) and maintenance data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Generate and manage internal and external production and maintenance reports, including monthly reporting of results and follow-up of incidents.

Analyze production deviations and report findings to relevant stakeholders.

Manage relationships with customers regarding reporting and performance results.

Continuous Improvement & Digitalization:

Develop and implement strategies for improving maintenance efficiency and reliability.

Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Provide input into long-term maintenance planning and budgeting activities.

Drive continuous improvement of analysis tools, and develop and implement new ones, including digitization and automation of analysis and reporting processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience working with FRACTAL CMMS (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, asset management, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of advanced reporting and data analysis tools such as Power BI and Python will be considered an asset.
- More than 2 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, or in a similar role.
- Experience in the solar energy sector is highly desirable.
