Mission:
The mission of the Treasury Operations role is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of the organization’s financial transactions, including payments, cash flow management, and banking operations. By maintaining robust internal controls, optimizing liquidity, and supporting financial compliance, Treasury Operations plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets and enabling smooth day-to-day financial functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and issuing payments to vendors, managing payment runs (batch run) for all the SPVs based on the cycle payment list approved by Head of Finance.
- Preparation of manual payment request for all the under construction and operational SPV’s.
- Processing overseas vendor payments.
- Accounting of payment entries in SAP - weekly basis.
- Preparation of request for fixed deposits.
- Opening bank accounts & maintaining signatories in all the banks.
- Circulation of bank statements of all bank accounts in each SPV - every month (1st working day to accounts team).
- Preparing applications for issuance of Letter of Credit.
- Preparing applications for issuance, renewal and cancellation of bank guarantee.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is required.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing, banking transactions, and treasury accounting.
- Familiarity with managing Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Fixed Deposits, and Cash Flow forecasting.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with banks, vendors, and internal finance teams.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
