MAKING DECARBONIZATION A REALITY
Mission:
We’re looking for a hands-on technology leader who can bring a product-builder mindset to the renewable energy sector. This role is about reimagining how a large-scale energy company runs — using data, AI, and digital products as the backbone. The Head of Digital & AI will design and build digital platforms, apps, and tools that make operations as intuitive, real-time, and scalable as any modern tech company.
This is not a consulting or IT role — it’s a tech-product role inside an energy company.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the digital product vision for the company — from idea to prototype to deployment.
- Reimagine internal workflows (project execution, O&M, procurement, finance, HR) through a tech lens, using automation, AI, and design thinking.
- Develop internal apps, dashboards, and data products for site management, asset performance, analytics, and collaboration.
- Build AI/ML-driven platforms for forecasting, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making.
- Architect a data ecosystem that unifies ERP, SCADA, and business data into a single, intelligent layer.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify friction points and build simple, intuitive digital tools to solve them.
- Lead a lean team of developers, data scientists, and product designers; manage external tech partners when needed.
- Create a culture of product thinking, agility, and digital ownership across the organization.
Job Requirements:
Profile Requirements
- 8–15 years of experience in tech-first companies (fintech, e-commerce, mobility, SaaS, or consumer tech).
- Proven track record of building and scaling digital products or platforms — ideally with direct engineering or product leadership responsibility.
- Deep understanding of modern tech stacks
- Strong exposure to AI/ML, analytics, and automation in live product environments.
- A builder mindset — prefers building solutions over managing vendors.
- Comfort working in high-growth, zero-to-one environments.
- Experience leading small engineering or data teams, or founding a tech startup.
Education
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or Engineering. (IITs/NITs preferred)
- M.Tech or equivalent in AI/Data Science is a plus, not mandatory.
