MAKING DECARBONIZATION A REALITY
Mission:
The Manager – Electrical will be responsible for end-to-end electrical execution of utility-scale solar EPC projects, including HT/LT systems, pooling substations, transmission lines, SCADA integration, and grid connectivity. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per technical standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution
- Lead electrical execution of solar projects (HT & LT systems).
- Oversee installation of inverters (central/string), SCBs, ACDB/DCDB, transformers, RMU, and HT panels.
- Manage 33kV/66kV pooling substations and transmission line interfaces.
- Ensure timely testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization.
2. Planning & Coordination
- Prepare execution plans, resource planning, and manpower deployment.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and SCADA teams.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Track progress and ensure milestone achievement.
3. Testing & Commissioning
- Supervise cable laying (DC & AC), termination, megger testing, relay testing.
- Coordinate protection system testing and CEI approvals.
- Ensure successful feeder charging and grid compliance.
4. Cost & Quality Control
- Monitor material consumption vs BOQ.
- Control wastage and ensure cost optimization.
- Maintain quality standards as per OEM and client requirements.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with DISCOM, STU/CTU, CEI, and clients.
- Conduct progress review meetings.
- Manage subcontractors and vendor coordination.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies and zero-accident targets.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
Job Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
- 8–15 years of experience in solar EPC / renewable projects.
- Hands-on experience in utility-scale (50 MW+) solar projects.
- Strong knowledge of HT systems (33kV / 66kV), pooling substations, and grid connectivity.

- BOQ management and billing coordination
- ERP/SAP knowledge preferred
