MAKING DECARBONIZATION A REALITY

Mission:

The main objective of this position will be responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of wind power projects from pre-construction planning through to commissioning. This includes coordinating with contractors, engineering teams, OEMs, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall site execution of wind farm construction projects including civil, electrical, and mechanical works.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, turbine suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project milestones.
• Review and approve site construction schedules, method statements, and QA/QC plans.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations at all times.
• Manage site resources including labor, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Liaise with local authorities, utility companies, landowners, and stakeholders for necessary clearances and smooth execution.
• Troubleshoot technical and logistical issues during construction and implement corrective actions.
• Support in wind turbine installation, commissioning, and handover to the operations team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5-6 years in wind power project execution.
• Strong knowledge of wind turbine technology, foundation works, transmission line construction, and substations.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple contractors on site.
• Excellent understanding of project management tools and construction scheduling.
• Sound knowledge of EHS standards and practices.
• Willingness to relocate or travel to remote project sites.
