Mission

Reporting to the O&M Regional Manager, the O&M Commercial Senior Manager will lead the design and execution of Zelestra’s commercial roadmap for O&M services in Spain, with the strategic goal of reaching 50% third-party assets by 2030.

 

The role combines business strategy, commercial leadership, and market development to position Zelestra as a reference player in the O&M sector. The incumbent will define the go-to-market strategy, develop the client portfolio, secure profitable contracts, and ensure scalability of third-party services, while safeguarding competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Commercial strategy design: Define and update the commercial roadmap for O&M services in Spain, ensuring alignment with 2030 objectives (50% of portfolio to third-party services).
  • Market development: Identify growth opportunities, design entry strategies for key accounts, and develop long-term partnerships with utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid asset owners.
  • Client acquisition: Drive the conversion of external clients, building a robust pipeline and ensuring strong win rates in tenders.
  • Value proposition & positioning: Shape Zelestra’s external O&M offering, integrating innovation, digital tools, and value-added services to differentiate from competitors.
  • Contract structuring: Lead negotiations and ensure sustainable contract models balancing risk, profitability, and service quality.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to ensure feasibility and profitability of contracts.
  • Reporting & forecasting: Provide strategic insights on market trends, pipeline evolution, and KPIs to support decision-making at regional and corporate level.
  • Brand representation: Position Zelestra O&M as a trusted service provider in sector forums, conferences, and client engagements.

 

 

Job Requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business or equivalent.

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Advanced English (C1 level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and commercial reporting platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of O&M services in renewable energy (solar required; wind/BESS is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the Iberian energy market and competitive landscape.

 

Previous Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years in commercial/business development roles in renewable energy, with at least 3 years in O&M/asset services.
  • Proven track record in securing and scaling third-party O&M contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing go-to-market strategies or expanding service lines.
  • Strong network in the renewable energy sector.
