Mission
Your mission will be coordinate and ensure the correct performance of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management system in the assigned operation and maintenance plants.
Responsibilities
- Develop the Safety and Environment Management plan and associate programs with the support of the Maintenance Manager.
- Control compliance with current legal and regulatory provisions, internal regulations of Zelestra and work procedures.
- Monitor the implementation and compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention and Environmental Plan. Carry out the annual planning of preventive activities of the assigned work centers.
- Identify deviations from the General Health and Safety Plan and the Environment during the period of operation of the plant, by carrying out inspections, tasks, the correct application of procedures and monitoring of corrective measures for possible incidents.
- Hold regular meetings with Portfolio Managers and Plant Operators to analyze deviations that may occur in the application of the plans,and introduce corrective measures.
- Plan and carry out emergency drills and prepare the corresponding reports.
- Generation of Non-Conformities related to their area, reporting their generation and monitoring their closure.
- Evaluate the progress and compliance of plans and programs together and report monthly.
- Promote the Health, Safety and Environmental System, making access to information and the dissemination of good practices possible.
- Prepare, disseminate, train, review and update all the concepts contained in the PGSS and their compliance by all plant workers.
- Generation of monthly HSE reports, these being reported to the SSMA Coordinator.
Job Requirements
- Intermediate-Level Technician qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention, with a specialization in Occupational Safety, or an equivalent qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention.
- Knowledge of environmental, occupational health and safety, and labour legislation.

At least 2 years of experience in Safety activities.
