Role Reports To: Senior Director of Project Controls Office
Position Snapshot
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for the project management control system for 4-8 concurrent projects within preconstruction and construction. The Project Controls Analyst will also prepare, analyze, verify, and report information related to project control areas such as cost, estimating, planning, scheduling, and documentation to ensure the success and performance of Zelestra’s renewable projects in the US.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, accounting, finance, project management, or a similar field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, procurement, or cost controls applicable to engineering and/or construction of power generation facilities, transmission, or electrical substations.
- 2+ years’ experience with detailed management of budgets, with the ability to forecast spend, provide accruals, understand retainage, and analyze performance on current spend vs budget.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to help build dashboards, pivot tables, and a table of contents to be able to tell a story with the data.

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
- Some irregular hours may be required during contract execution, tax equity funding, or financial close activities.
- PMP certification is a plus but not a requirement
Position Responsibilities
- Document management to support project financing, tax equity, transition to operations, and potential sale of assets.
- Support the negotiation of EPC contracts, ensuring all exhibits are completed with SMEs.
- Monitor KPIs to ensure financial and schedule targets are met. Set up and manage weekly reports for construction projects, including performance and variances, change orders, etc.
- Work closely with the Program Directors, Construction Project Managers, and other functional groups to ensure project control needs are met in an effective and timely manner.
- Assist Structured Finance with Tax Equity deliverables and technical due diligence.
- Prepare and maintain project and program level dashboards and reports in Excel and Sitetracker
- Collect lessons learned.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated starting salary for this position is based on experience, qualifications, and education in a remote-working environment: $80,600 - $95,000.
