Portfolio Coordinator ERNC LATAM (Chile)

Mission
At Zelestra, we are looking a Portfolio Coordinator to join the Chile/Colombia/Peru Office within our LATAM Business Unit. The main mission of this role will be to coordinate and support the LATAM Development VP and the Country Directors in each country in tracking the execution of our growth plan; lead monitoring and follow-up activities of the project portfolio across the three countries, including budget review and project progress status, to ensure compliance with the Development division’s objectives according to internal processes; support Development Managers in reviewing the financial feasibility of our projects; and coordinate and consolidate market intelligence activities at both local and regional levels.
All of the above aims to contribute to the efficient development of the renewable energy project pipeline and support the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Country Director and Development Manager in each country, acting as responsible for tracking the achievement of the Business Development division’s objectives.
- Lead monitoring and reporting activities on the progress status of the project portfolio in the three countries of operation, including their respective budgets.
- Support Development Managers in reviewing and validating the financial models of each project, in accordance with processes defined with the Investment Director.
- Coordinate market intelligence activities in collaboration with the Strategic Business Development team.
- Ensure the proper use of monitoring and workflow systems by the development team (e.g., Ptrack).
- Support the LATAM Development VP in meeting company expectations, in coordination with other company areas.
Job Requirements
- Professional degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the energy or financial sector.
- Relevant experience in energy project development (mandatory).
- Experience across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects (preferably utility-scale).
- Intermediate proficiency in project management software (MS Project or similar).
- Advanced English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge in:
- Financial project evaluation methods.
- Project evaluation (discounted cash flow).
- Energy market.
- Cost estimation.
