Mission
Contribute in the development, definition and coordination of electrical engineering associated with the design of renewable plants under development and construction.
Responsibilities
- Design the electrical installation of LV and MV photovoltaic and BESS projects (Renewable in general), including the preparation of bids and technical management of the purchases of electrical components and equipment in the projects.
- Design of evacuation infrastructures for renewable plants (layout, calculations and electrical measurements).
- Design of Switching Substations and Step-up Substations in accordance with international and local regulations. Design the electrical installation of MV Substation and design of Transformer and Inverter Substations (DC/AC): Equipment, control and protection.
- Supervision of basic or conceptual engineering, construction and detail engineering.
- Preparation of technical requirements for the purchase of equipment and specifications for the contracting of detailed engineering and/or construction of evacuation infrastructures.
- Technical-economic evaluation of bids for electrical components and interconnection installations.
- Preparation of technical requirements for the purchase of equipment, projects tenders and capability to perform technical-economic evaluation of electrical components offers.
- Supporting project managers and project principals as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Providing electrical engineering technical support into projects at various stages (from feasibility to preliminary and detailed design, construction and operational stages).
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and specifications requirements to a high-quality standard including application of relevant standards.
- Coordinating with the different engineering areas and with the technical project managers the engineering needs and delivery requirements.
- Attending meetings with clients and suppliers on engineering matters under his/her responsibility.
- Attend project sites to coordinate and witness testing and commissioning activities established in the project quality plans.
- Collaborate in the fulfillment of the objectives and goals of QHSE established by the company.
- Know and comply with the regulations, manuals and procedures that affect their work.
- Ensure the quality of the work delivered.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering companies developing similar functions in the area of renewable energy (photovoltaic plants, solar thermal, biomass, wind, etc.)
- Native in Italian is required.
- Advanced level of English (minimum C1 level, written and spoken) is required.
