Project Finance Analyst LATAM

Mission

At Zelestra, we are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to join our LATAM Finance team, based in Santiago. Their main mission will be to support the Finance area in reporting, modeling, budgeting, and monitoring operational projects and projects seeking financing, in accordance with established deadlines and project milestones, and in line with current regulations and Zelestra guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the actions required to secure all subsequent disbursements, complying with all lenders’ requirements for such disbursements.
• Support the management of both incoming and outgoing operational assets by coordinating with the internal departments involved in project development, including Finance, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Technical teams.
• Execute the internal processes required to ensure the timely fulfillment of all obligations related to existing financing agreements for operational assets.
• Coordinate and negotiate with lenders/banks regarding ad hoc approvals, waivers, and distributions.
• Maintain relationships with lenders’ agents for the completion of quarterly reports and with other involved stakeholders.
• Provide support to company leadership in the analysis of operating projects.
• Conduct preventive analysis of project performance, identifying potential deviations, their causes, and possible courses of action.
• Support the refinancing and restructuring of projects in operation.
• Prepare the refinancing model to be shared with the Investments team.
• Support the preparation of periodic reports for area management on all aspects related to project performance, legal matters if any, revenue collection, etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in infrastructure or energy financing, banking, corporate finance, and/or debt management.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory.
• Advanced English is mandatory.
• Experience managing Project Finance contracts will be a plus.
