Accounting Analyst (Perú)

Mission

At Zelestra, we are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join the Finance team, based in our office in Lima, Peru. The main mission of this role will be to execute and analyze the company’s accounting management in the country, aligned with the established quality standards and deadlines, as well as to prepare financial statements, reports, and other deliverables required by regulatory entities, relevant stakeholders, and audit processes, in accordance with current legislation and Zelestra guidelines. All of the above while ensuring compliance with Peruvian tax regulations across all accounting and tax-related activities of the company.

Responsibilities

• Record and analyze accounting transactions in accordance with IFRS.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and accounting account reconciliations.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying variances.
• Manage provisions, accruals, and accounting reclassifications.
• Prepare supporting information for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including IGV, withholding taxes, detracciones, and electronic accounting books.
• Prepare and validate reports submitted to SUNAT.
• Collaborate in the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in positions with similar responsibilities related to Accounting, preferably in companies within sectors such as Engineering, Construction, and/or the electrical industry.
• Previous experience in Renewable Energy companies is desirable.
• Knowledge of Peruvian tax legislation.
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
• User-level proficiency in SAP, FI-CO Module.
• Intermediate English level (desirable).
