Mission

Your mission will be to manage and provide technical and financial support for the procurement of key equipment for renewable energy projects, such as PV inverters, BESS systems, substation equipment (particularly transformers), control, monitoring and communications systems (SCADA, PPC, CCTV, weather stations, UPSs, etc.), contributing to cost optimisation, risk mitigation and security of supply, in coordination with project teams and the procurement strategy

Responsibilities

1.  PURCHASING PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

•    Plan, manage and coordinate the purchases assigned by your line manager, in accordance with project requirements.

•    Analyse project supply requirements in coordination with the technical and project management teams.

•    Ensure compliance with the budgets, deadlines and scopes defined for each project.

2. RFQ MANAGEMENT AND TENDER ANALYSIS

•    Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers

•    Compile tender comparisons.

•    Conduct technical and financial analyses of tenders, identifying risks, deviations and opportunities for improvement.

3. SUPPLIER RELATIONS AND EVALUATION

•    Participate in the evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement of supplier performance (cost, quality, deadlines).

•    Assist in the search for, analysis and approval of new suppliers.

•    Maintain a smooth working relationship with suppliers, participating in technical and commercial meetings where necessary.

4. NEGOTIATION AND CONTRACTING

•    Negotiating with suppliers within the scope of negotiation set by your line manager.

•    Collaborating and coordinating with the Legal, Finance, Technical and Construction departments, etc., to finalise contracts, purchase orders and guarantees.

5. REPORTING

•    Reporting and communication with the various business units

•    Provide up-to-date information on the status of RFQs, awards, contracts and purchase orders.

6. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT AND PROCEDURES

•    Comply with internal procedures.

•    Manage documentation associated with procurement (contracts, purchase orders, guarantees, etc.)

•    Ensure that all documentation complies with internal procurement and contracting procedures.

•    Keep procurement information up to date in corporate systems and tools (ERP and document databases).

7. STRATEGIC MARKET ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT FOR THE PROCUREMENT STRATEGY

•    Conduct market analysis of the main supply categories (price trends, production capacity, supply risks).

•    Support the development of price and commercial terms benchmarking by type of equipment or service.

•    Identify market risks and opportunities (supplier concentration, price volatility, lead times).

•    Support the procurement manager in defining sourcing strategies (multi-sourcing, framework agreements, forward purchasing).

•    Analyse the impact of market developments on the costs of future projects.

•    Propose initiatives to optimise costs and improve competitiveness in the medium and long term.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • English proficiency: B2–C1 level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP Ariba is desirable
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement within the photovoltaic (solar energy) sector
