Mission

We are looking to incorporate a SCADA engineer/technician for solar power plants located in northern Spain (more than 300 MW distributed across 8 plants). The mission of this role is to develop and maintain SCADA systems for the company’s multi-technology projects, as well as the development and maintenance of the Remote Control Center SCADA.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-technology projects: SCADA development and maintenance using the Ignition platform.

  • SCADA project management: milestones and timelines.

  • Definition of SCADA systems: central plant and substation SCADA, data loggers, PLCs, and RTUs.

  • Monitoring of SCADA projects developed by third parties.

  • Definition of communication protocols: Modbus, DNP3, IEC-104, IEC-61850, and OPC.

  • On-site implementation of SCADA systems.

  • Development of SCADA project documentation.

  • Continuous improvement, development, and maintenance of the Remote Control Center SCADA.

Job Requirements

TRAINING AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Master in Telecommunications Engineering / Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering.
  • Complementary education: Ignition certification
  • Technical Knowledge
    • English C1
    • SCADA Ignition
    • Programming
    • Scripting
    • Database. SQL Server, PostgreSQL

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in projects with industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 101/104, IEC 61850…)
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing SCADA systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in databases, programming and scripting.

 

Availability for domestic and international travel.
